RESUMEN El presente estudio aborda las tensiones curriculares y didácticas para la integración y el desarrollo de la argumentación en la Educación terciaria. La investigación realizada en una universidad chilena tuvo como objetivo identificar las tensiones didácticas, pedagógicas y curriculares para el desarrollo de habilidades argumentativas en la formación docente. Metodológicamente, el estudio de enfoque cualitativo, diseño exploratorio y estudio de caso fue realizado a través de focus groups a directivos y académicos de una carrera de Educación infantil. El método de análisis utilizado en la investigación es de contenido operacionalizado a través de una codificación temática instrumentalizada por medio del Software Atlas Ti. Los principales resultados de la investigación evidencian tensiones en el estudiantado referidas a habilidades de ingreso a la educación superior, las estructuras argumentativas formuladas, el uso de evidencias y vocabulario en la argumentación oral y escrita. Así, las principales tensiones didácticas y curriculares se concentran en el tratamiento de contenido de la argumentación, las metodologías de enseñanza-aprendizaje, el desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas a través de la argumentación, el currículo y las experiencias evaluativas, distinguidas como instancias particulares y focalizadas en la formación docente.

ABSTRACT This paper tackles the curricular and didactic tensions observed in the integration and development of argumentation in higher education. The objective of the study carried out in a Chilean university is to identify the didactic, pedagogical and curricular conditions for classroom implementation in the development of argumentative skills in teacher training. The research is based on qualitative approach study, of exploratory design and ascribed to a case study. Focus groups with managers and professors of an early childhood education program were used to carry out a qualitative, exploratory, and case study. The research method of analysis is content operationalized through thematic coding instrumented by the Atlas.ti software. The main results of the research reveal student tensions concerned with the following: entry abilities to higher education, the formulated argumentative structures, the use of evidence and vocabulary in oral and written argumentation. Thus, the main didactic and curricular tensions focus on the treatment of the content of argumentation, the teaching-learning methodologies, the development of cognitive skills through argumentation in the curriculum, and the assessment experiences, yielding particular and focalized instances in teacher training.

Abstract: The aim of this article is to address the mechanisms of collective resistance that rural women deploy as a result of the transformations in rural habitability in the Aconcagua Valley in Chile. The research is developed in the rural areas of Pullalli and Olmué —based on a collaborative embodied ethnography— through life history techniques with rural women in collective workshops and open interviews to key agents to account for the agencies that are generated from the habitability of the body. The findings show that women mobilize their agencies from the linkage of the body, territory, and the inequalities of the sex/gender system. Establishing the sustainability of life as a gear that generates dynamics of crisis and exposure, but also mobilizations and actions that are based on territorial processes arising from water scarcity, body territorial marks, and the creation of solidarity networks.

Resumen: Este artículo tiene como objetivo abordar los mecanismos de resistencia colectiva que las mujeres rurales despliegan a partir de las transformaciones en la habitabilidad rural del Valle del Aconcagua en Chile. La investigación se desarrolla en las zonas rurales de Pullalli y Olmué —con base en una etnografía encarnada colaborativa—, mediante técnicas de historias de vida con mujeres rurales en talleres colectivos y entrevistas abiertas a agentes clave, para dar cuenta de las agencias que se generan desde la habitabilidad del cuerpo. Los hallazgos evidencian que las mujeres movilizan sus agencias desde la vinculación del cuerpo, el territorio y las desigualdades del sistema sexo/género. Se establece la sostenibilidad de la vida como un engranaje que suscita dinámicas de crisis y exposición, pero también de movilizaciones y acciones que se asientan en los procesos territoriales que devienen de la escasez hídrica, las marcas territoriales corporales y la creación de redes de solidaridad.

ABSTRACT Objective Warthin-like papillary thyroid cancer (WL-PTC) is an uncommon variant of PTC, usually associated with lymphocytic thyroiditis. Scarce evidence suggests that WL-PTC has similar clinical presentation to classic PTC (C-PTC), with no studies comparing risks of recurrence and response to treatment between both variants. Our objective was to describe the clinical presentation and prognosis of WL-PTC and compare it to C-PTC. Subjects and methods Retrospective analysis of a prospective cohort, including 370 (96%) patients with C-PTC and 17 (4%) with WL-PTC, consecutively treated with total thyroidectomy with or without RAI, followed for at least 6 months. We compared clinical presentation, risk of mortality and recurrence, as well as response to treatment between both variants. Results Of the total cohort: 317 (82%) female, 38 ± 13.5 years, median follow-up 4 years (0.5-28.5); most of them stage I and low/intermediate risk of recurrence. We found no differences regarding clinical-pathological data and risk of recurrence. WL-PTC was associated with a higher rate of anti-thyroglobulin antibodies (TgAb) (65% vs. 36%, p = 0.016) and lymphocytic thyroiditis (59% vs. 34%, p = 0.03). The rates of biochemical and structural incomplete responses were similar in both variants. WL-PTC had a lower rate of excellent response (23% vs. 54%, p = 0.01), which became non-significant when performing analysis by TgAb presence (50% vs. 67%, p = NS). Conclusions WL-CPT and C-CPT have similar clinical presentation and rate of recurrence. The lower rate of excellent response to treatment in WL-PTC is due to a higher frequency of TgAb. WL-PCT should not be considered an aggressive variant of PTC.
